STREET LEVEL CONTACTS
Oxford Together (also known as Oxford Hub) has set up street contacts in almost every street in the city. If you or a neighbour require help then please email the address shown below in column 2 for your street or area. Your email message will go to the relevant Oxford Together Neighbourhood Coordinator who can then deal with your request.
Please note that for some browsers and email clients the linked email addresses below may not link correctly. This may be a problem with your browser rather than the website. If that happens, copy the email address.
In addition to the Oxford Together scheme a number of Headington residents' groups have set up networks of volunteers who can help. Column 3 in the table below shows where such residents' networks exist. If you wish to make contact with one of these groups then email the address shown. We will redirect your email message as appropriate.
Please include your name, address, email and/or phone number in your message.

LOCAL SUPPORT
Headington Action encourages residents on all streets to create a street contact scheme to provide support and assistance amongst one another. If you would like to know if your street already has a Street Champion or is part of a residents association, please contact Headington Action's 'Street Champion Coordinator' via streets@headingtonaction.org or 07394908546.
WhatsApp - This mobile phone app is excellent for creating support groups. Just find someone to initiate the group, push short notes through doors, respond by text, the lead person joins everyone into the group and it's done. Then encourage people to link to neighbours who don't have the technology and act as their access to the group. Click here for a suggested template note to post to neighbours.
Residents' Associations may wish to set up more complex schemes aimed at those without access to the web, etc. Highfield RA is an example - Click here.

Nextdoor.com - The social networking service for small neighbourhoods has set up a Help Centre - Click here for information on the service and a map showing the location of residents offering help.
