Data Privacy

This data privacy notice is issued to comply with the European Union General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) which came into force on 25th May 2018 and is implemented by the UK's Data Protect Act (2018) and  UK-GDPR . Membership
Headington Action (HA) maintains a list of members, their names, addresses and, if provided, email addresses.  This information is used solely to maintain an email and address list for disseminating information. All communications sent from HA preserve the recipients’ anonymity. The complete membership list can only be viewed by the Secretary and other Trustees and Officers of HA.  The list of members is never shared with any other organisation. 

Projects
HA runs projects to implement its policies.  The chair of each project committee maintains a list of project committee members and other interested parties solely for communication purposes in compliance with HA policy. 


The ‘lawful basis’ for this data processing is the ‘legitimate interests’ of HA.  If you have any questions about this or if you wish to have your details removed from our membership list please contact us, giving your name so we can trace your details.
