What We Do

​Headington Action:

• Runs the Headington Saturday Market 
• Organises the The Headington Festival
• Organises hanging flower baskets for Headington
• Works with Headington businesses to organise Winter/Christmas lights
• Provides grants under the Small Sparks Scheme as well as Community Grants. Click here to apply and to see the previous grants awarded.
• Looks after the Central Headington community notice boards
• Develops and implements Community Projects
• Instigated and worked with Headington Neighbourhood Forum on the Headington Neighbourhood Plan
• Works with Headington Neighbourhood Forum to develop a Community Council for Headington
• Supports street parties
• Maintains some Community Resources that may be borrowed for community events and activities
• Liaises regularly with the City Council with ideas for improving the area and responds to consultations
• Provides a forum for local groups such as residents' associations to share ideas and concerns​
