Barton Community Larder (Tuesday 10:00-12:00 & 14:00-19:00)

A community larder is a ‘pop-up’ hub, a place to access food that is surplus, make friends, access additional services and save money on your bills. Some larders have been set up like your average store, even fitted by our friends at the Co-op. All Community Larders are unique in their own way, “reducing food waste, creating opportunities, engaging with communities”.

Citizens' Advice Drop-in (Thursday 10:00-12:00)

Citizens' Advice Oxford holds drop-in sessions at the Bullingdon Centre. It offers free, independent and confidential advice about benefits, debts, housing,
problems at work and consumer issues.
Please arrive as early as possible and be prepared to wait. Seats are available. Advice is given within the private office space just inside the front door. It is open to everyone.
There is also an appointment service afterwards from 12:00-13:00

Oxford Breastfeeding Support (Tuesday 10:00-11:00 and 11:00-12:00)

Oxfordshire Breastfeeding Support provides local breastfeeding support in the community via weekly in-person support sessions, video and phone consultations, and monthly online antenatal breastfeeding education sessions for Oxfordshire families, facilitated by experienced IBCLCs and breastfeeding counsellors, supported by trained volunteers. There is also a private Facebook group where you can quickly find support.

The Archway Foundation

Archway provides a pathway of support to develop positive well-being, reduce isolation and encourage increased social contact both within Archway’s own services and in the wider community. Most social contact roles within Archway are performed by volunteers who are trained to support people in Oxfordshire. 
Over 18 year olds can refer themselves via the website.

The Gatehouse

The Gatehouse provides a wide range of free services to adults with no need to be registered as homeless or to prove a local connection. The community centre and café operates as a drop-in service, but some services do require advance booking.
Current services include a daily drop-in community centre/café, provision of other basic practical support (e.g. clothes, sleeping bags), therapeutic workshops, shower provision, bespoke one-to-one support from the Casework Team, a Counselling Service, and a Lived Experience Advisory Forum.
