Headington Action is coordinating a ‘Connected Communities Week’ between 23rd May and 29th May this year (2022) where a number of events will provide opportunities to meet other people and to volunteer. If you are part of a group or organisation that would like to take part and promote what you do then please contact us. You could have an open event for potential newcomers or have a stall at the festival.
The outline programme is:

Local groups or organisations have an open event where anyone interested in joining can enjoy a taster.

Various health and social events open to residents.
'Chatty cafes' and 'talking benches' where talking with someone you may never have met before is encouraged.
